Effects on other animals

Pet rodents

DO NOT USE GREEN SHIELD IF YOU HAVE HAMSTERS, GERBILS, PET MICE, PET RATS OR OTHER TAME RODENTS IN YOUR HOUSE.

Green Shield devices were developed specifically to repel small rodents such as mice and rats, therefore they are unsuitable if you keep pet rodents who will not be able to get away from the stress caused by the electromagnetic field.

Cats, dogs, birds and fish

Non-rodent pets such as cats, dogs, birds and fish are NOT affected by Green Shield repellers. There will be no problems at all with using Green Shield in a house with these types of pets.

Squirrels, glis glis, pine martens and other larger rodents

Larger rodents such as squirrels and glis glis can infest attics. We haven’t tested Green Shield extensively for larger rodents, but several of our customers have tried it by draping a long extension lead in “s”-shaped curves throughout the attic space, then plugging a Green Shield GS200 in at the end. We suggest the more powerful small commercial device for larger rodents, as the brains of squirrels and othe larger rodents are larger, so need a more powerful field to have the same effect.  The customers mostly said it worked for them, so we suggest it’s worth a try.  We have a 60-day money back guarantee, so it only costs the postage.

Insects and spiders

Some customers have told us that Green Shield works on ants, spiders and crickets, but we’ve not confirmed this with independent tests so we don’t guarantee it.
